RootShield Biological Granular Fungicide

RootShield Granules is an OMRI listed biological fungicide for root disease control. It grows on roots “shielding” them against root damaging fungi. It can be used for media incorporation – nursery, greenhouse, and vegetables. RootShield releases enzymes that dissolve the cell wall of many fungal pathogens, and promotes a healthier root system increasing root mass potential. One application provides up to 12 weeks of protection.

Rate of use:
In-Furrow Soil Treatment: Apply RootShield Granules Biological Fungicide from a granular applicator at the rate of 2.5 – 6.0 pounds per 0.5 acre. Apply granules using a metering device, such as a Gandy applicator or equivalent, mounted to deliver granules into the furrow just behind the furrow opener. Apply in furrow at seeding or to established crops as a side dress and incorporate into soil.
